1)Why we need the blue cut lens?
If you work on a computer, use a smartphone, watch TV, or simply go out in the sun, you are being exposed to high-energy visible (HEV) blue light. Too much blue light exposure can damage the eyes over time and even lead to vision loss. Today, more people are wearing blue-light-blocking lenses to protect their eyes from these potentially damaging rays.

HEV blue light is part of the visible light spectrum. During the daytime, natural blue light from the sun helps keep you awake and regulates your circadian rhythm, or ‘body clock.’ Indoors, blue light is emitted from digital devices like computers or smartphone screens, as well as artificial light sources such as LED and fluorescent lights.
3) How the blue cut lenses protect your eye.
● Blue cut lenses can cut 100% UV rays, but don't mean can block 100% blue light, just cut part of the harmful light in blue light, and let the beneficial blue light allowed to pass.
● The function of Blue Cut lenses is to reduce the effects of blue light. Blue Cut Premium 35 absorbs 35% of the blue light – between the 420nm and 450nm wavelenght. Blue Cut Hi-tech 50 absorbs 50% of the blue light – between the 420nm and 450nm wavelenght. Both absorb 100% of ultraviolet light, protecting the eye and making the use of electronic devices less inconvenient.
